Mitesh is a Solicitor in our Personal Injury department. We are proud to say that many of our talented solicitors at Levenes have risen 'through the ranks'. Mitesh is a fine example having first joined Levenes in 1999 for work experience whilst a student before becoming a fully fledged member of the team as a paralegal in 2002. Mitesh went on to qualify as a solicitor in January 2006.
Noted for his strong commitment to the local community, Mitesh regularly advises at a charitable organisation - the Sangam Community Centre. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and his present case work encompasses a wide variety of work which has seen him attend hearings in the High Court, Coroner’s Court for Inquest hearings, and Mediation for numerous high value cases.
Mitesh has a special interest in catastrophic and fatality claims as well as employers liability cases. He has assisted in cases before the Court of Appeal and has his own multi track caseload.
Recent notable cases Mitesh has worked on include a case where our client recovered over a quarter of a million pounds following a serious road traffic accident which left the Claimant with permanent symptoms. Mitesh recently represented an Indian national who suffered a serious hand injury when at work in the UK. This individual suffered a loss of congenial employment and psychiatric injuries. His claim settled for just under £100,000.
Mitesh is originally from 'up north' and confesses to being a Blackburn Rovers fan. He also enjoys badminton and dining out.
