Kevin McManamon
Kevin is a solicitor in the Education and Disability Department at Levenes. He holds an LLB (Hons), LLM and AKC from Kings College London and additionally holds a PgDipPLS from City University, London. Prior to joining Levenes Kevin was employed, for two years, at the Disability Law Service where he undertook work in the various areas of social welfare law and disability discrimination. Kevin joined Levenes in 2006 to exclusively practice in the areas of education and disability discrimination. He was called to the Bar in 2005 and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. Kevin has been instructed on the whole breadth of appeals and claims heard by the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal (SENDIST) as well as judicial review cases in the High Court and beyond. Kevin often acts on both admissions and exclusions appeals and has experience of advising on school reorganisations. In addition, Kevin has acted and advised upon disability discrimination claims against schools, colleges, universities and service providers.
