Gary Thomas

As well as being a FILEX Gary is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers who has worked at Levenes since 1994.

Prior to joining Levenes he worked in the Motor Insurance Industry where he dealt with personal injury claims of substantial value and first got his taste for the law.

Gary deals with all types of accidents including road traffic, workplace, occupiers liability and highway slips and trips.

Gary’s notable cases include Mr S of Swansea who received £173,000 as a result of a fall from a faulty ladder. 

Gary acted for the Claimant in Burden v Harrods (2005) where he overturned a decision by the court to allow the Defendants to withdraw from an agreement previously reached on liability. He also acted for the Claimant in Berisha v DSM Trading(1) + Collier(2) where a company director was held personally liable for breaches of Work Equipment Regulations, the company being uninsured and in liquidation”
