Tim Beasley, Partner at Levenes Birmingham office secured a settlement of £900,000 for Mrs Mann who was injured in a Road Traffic Accident. Mrs Mann's case started off like many appearing to be a relatively straightforward whiplash injury. Sadly, Mrs Mann developed a rare condition called Myofascial Pain Disorder which left her with one arm which was practically useless and crippled by pain.  In spite of medical treatment, the Claimant did not make a full recovery and she was unable to pursue a lucrative professional career. The award reflected the potential earnings this young woman was likely to forgo.

 

'There were two key features of the case, ' said Tim Beasley. 'Firstly,we took a cooperative approach with the insurers in trying to get the Claimant the best treatment that could be obtained and then in the litigation stage, when it was clear that all had been done to aid Mrs Mann's recovery, ensuring that the medico-legal experts addressed the key issues in the case.'
