Where any child is excluded this is obviously an upsetting and stressful time for all involved. At Levenes we understand the specific difficulties such an event creates, and as such, are often instructed to act on behalf of parents where their child has been excluded.

We can offer advice from the Headteacher’s initial decision right through to providing representation at hearings. We have experience of acting in cases involving drugs, violence, sexual assault, challenging behaviour, where a child has special educational needs and where discrimination is in issue. As such we are able to advise practically on maximising your chances of success at all stages.

Where parents have been unsuccessful at an appeal hearing we regularly advise on the possibility of challenging such a decision to the High Court or elsewhere. We have acted on some of the most recent leading cases in this area representing parents in the High Court, Court of Appeal and beyond.
