A new Fast Track RTA Claims procedure applies to road accident claims where the accident was on or after 30th April 2010 if the likely value of the claim is between £1,000 and £10,000.

 

The new procedure makes use of technology so that the claim can be submitted via a secure website to the insurers, who in tern reply electronically.  Evidence can be scanned and submitted electronically. Stricter time limits apply with the idea that most road traffic accident claims can be dealt with more quickly.
