Mitesh wins award at the Houses of Parliament
The 54th Gujarat Foundation day Achievement & Award ceremony was held in the House of Commons at the Palace of Westminster on 1st May 2014.
Notable guests included The Indian High Commissioner of London, Mr. Ranjan Mathi and the event was hosted by Priti Patel MP, the Prime Minister’s UK India Diasporia champion.
The landmark celebrations in the Palace of Westminster, showcased and raised awareness about the outstanding achievements and contributions of the Gujarati community to the UK and around the world. The event was hosted in partnership with the National Congress of Gujarat Organisations (NCGO) UK, which is the voice of 104 member organisation.
Mitesh Patel, a Partner and Solicitor of Levenes was awarded for his achievement in legal services and was presented the award by NCGO treasurer Krishna Pujara and Priti Patel MP.
Speaking after receiving his award, Mitesh addressed the audience filled with entrprentuers and successful professionals, stating that it was a privilege to receive an award at the prestigious Palace of Westminster where the key members of the British Gujarati community were recognised for their achievements. Mitesh further stated “It is an honour to be in the company of a number of famous achievers and established members of the community that have made it possible for their community to progress in Britain. The NCGO have put together a historic and landmark event which will remain in the memories of all those who attended and inspire future generations to come”
