Days after the row over James Martin's ill-judged comments about cyclists which prompted the anger of multi medal winning cyclist Bradley Wiggins on his twitter feed, Bradley's wife Cath was the victim of a negligent car driver after she was knocked off her cycle.
Bradley has become a real force in road racing after a tremendous performance in the Tour de France this year saw him equal the best ever finish in the General Classification.
Just days after a row erupted over the comments of James Martin in his Daily Mail comment (for which he later apologized) in which he described with glee how he had run a group of cyclists off the road, prompting a reaction from Bradley Wiggins, his wife Cath, another proflific tweeter, found herself on the wrong end of another motorist's carelessness when she was hit from behind at a T junction. Her bike was bent and she was left with a "blue arm, sore back and a bad mood"
Meanwhile, Bradley is about to represent GB in the Time Trial event in the World Championships.
