Man killed in factory accidentA police investigation has been launched into a death at a Hertfordshire factory.
Initial reports suggest a man fell from scaffolding at the Universal Beverages drinks factory. Paramedics tried to save his life, but he died at the scene.
The company said it would fully co-operate with any police investigation. A spokesman added that some areas of production and some milling had been suspended while a full investigation was carried out.
"Our thoughts at this time are with family, friends and colleagues who have been impacted by this morning's events," the spokesman said.
Police believe the incident was an industrial accident, but have said that investigations are still at an early stage.
