Doherty on bail after heroin chargeRock star Pete Doherty has had another run-in with the law after he was charged with possession of heroin.
The troubled Babyshambles singer was arrested on Monday, shortly after making an appearance at Gloucester Crown Court charged with driving offences.
The 30-year-old was spared a jail term, but was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £2,050 in fines. He had admitted careless and drink-driving charges after a gig in Gloucester.
As he left the court, Doherty was escorted to the police station across the road.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed he was charged with possession of heroin and released on bail.
