Sevim joined Levenes in 2008 as a Paralegal and has worked her way up to become a Solicitor in October 2015. Her hard work, attention to detail and experience has been valued and in December 2023 she was promoted to become an Associate Solicitor.

She is one of our Senior Solicitors working on serious injury cases where clients have suffered life changing injuries. Besides her own caseload she also supervises a department and assists the Partners on catastrophic cases. She has an eye for detail and will thoroughly advise her clients at all stages to achieve the best possible outcome. She gives priority to her client’s health and would do her best to obtain early rehabilitation which is funded by the Defendant. She works closely with clients, case managers and experts to achieve the best outcome.

She has vast experience in all personal injury cases ranging from road traffic accident, workplace accidents, occupiers’ liability claims, motor insurance bureau and criminal injuries compensation claims.

She is a member of APIL (Association of Personal injury Lawyers).

  • Cyclist wins multi-track RTA liability only trial against motorcyclist who denied liability throughout – case settled at Joint Settlement Meeting – £200,000 gross damages.
  • Self-employed demolition worker falls from scaffold tower and suffers a head injury and a traumatic dislocation of his shoulder. Liability was denied throughout. The case settled shortly before trial – £160,000 damages.
  • Innocent passenger in the Defendant’s car. The Defendant alleged contributory negligence for allowing herself to be transported when she knew the Defendant driver to be intoxicated and unfit to drive. We proved that the Defendant’s alcohol reading was below the prescribed limit and recovered 100% compensation – £85,000 damages.
  • In a shopping mall, our client tripped over a raised edge of a stall and suffered fractured wrist and fractured foot. She is at risk of developing post-traumatic arthritis in her wrist – £50,000 damages.
  • Cyclist v Van. Our client was hit by a van when he had right of way and suffered multiple injuries. Proceedings were issued but case settled out of court – £70,000 damages.
  • Child pedestrian suffered traumatic brain injury due to a road traffic accident – case settled just under £2,000,000.
  • Labourer suffered a high energy pilon fracture due to a fall from a ladder and has a small risk of below knee amputation – case settled at the Joint Settlement Meeting for £500,000.

The Claimant and his wife worked together as lorry drivers. The husband suffered psychological and physical injuries and his wife was killed as a result of a tragic road traffic collision when the Defendant, driving a Mini Cooper vehicle on the M20, Ashford, lost control of her vehicle. She travelled across 2 lanes and collided with our client’s vehicle. Brazilian circus troop horrific crash with two members killed at A11

Our clients were part of a Circus Troop of 15 members. They were travelling through Europe and stationed at the time in the town of Great Yarmouth where they had been performing for the last 8 months. The accident happened when they were leaving England in order to fulfil a new contract in Italy and while travelling on the A11, near Cambridge, when their caravan was hit by a Van driver who was not paying attention. Two members of the troop passed away as a result of the accident and all the others sustained physical and psychological injuries. This accident caused terrible grief and trauma and although some of the performers were able to perform again, they never again performed as one troop.
